get me out of here

Voices from the Street is offered in partnership with Working for Change and the Gerstein Crisis Centre and is a speakers bureau comprised of individuals who have had direct experience with homelessness, poverty, and/or mental health issues.

Voices works to put a human face to homelessness and involves people with direct experience as leaders in a public education process. Members of Voices have graduated from a 12 week training program that provides training on public speaking, policy issues, how government works, diversity issues, communication, conflict resolution and working with the media.
